Graduation and Degree Requirements

To earn the MSPAS degree, the graduate student must:

• Have an overall minimum grade point average of 3.0 in all required PA courses with a maximum of one ‘U’ (unsatisfactory) course grade.
• Be in good academic and professional behavior standing as determined by the Academic and Professional Progress Committee.
• Submit an application for graduation to the Registrar by Oct. 15 preceding the graduation date.
• Complete all required MSPAS degree courses and requirements in a satisfactory manner within 36 months (three years).
• Demonstrate professional and personal attributes appropriate for continuance in the program and entry into the profession.
• Demonstrate the program-defined competencies as determined through the summative evaluation process that occurs in the last four months of the program.

It is the student’s responsibility to be familiar with the preceding requirements for graduation.
