Sexual Harassment
Sexual Harassment, as an umbrella category, includes the prohibited conduct of sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking (based on sex), and sexual exploitation. Title IX and Non-Title IX Sexual Harassment, in all their forms, are adjudicated under the authority of the university’s Sexual Harassment Policy and Procedures, which can be found at: http://elon.smartcatalogiq.com/current/Title-IX-Policy. This Policy applies to all students, including all undergraduate students, graduate students, and law students.
The Title IX Coordinator is responsible for Elon University’s response to allegations of Sexual Harassment. Violations of the Sexual Harassment Policy and Procedures are violations of the Code of Conduct. Students are responsible for knowing the information, policies and procedures outlined in this document and the Student Handbook.
