DPT 701 Neuroscience
Anatomy and physiology of the human nervous system; development, cellular, chemical, and structural basis for normal and abnormal sensorimotor and higher cognitive function. Discusses the clinically relevant pathological sequelae and the neurobiological basis for clinical intervention. Emphasizes a highly organized and interconnected nervous system with multiple mechanisms of neuroplasticity. Neuroimaging is integrated into the course.
