Economics A.B. - International Economics Track

A Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Economics and a concentration in International Economics requires the completion of the Elon Core Curriculum as well as the Major Requirements listed below.

Major Requirements:

Electives: 12 sh

Select 12 hours of ECO electives at the 300-400 level.

  • One of these elective courses must be taken abroad
  • At least 4 sh must be from the 400 level
  • No more than 8 sh of travel, travel, internship, independent study, and research maybe be counted towards this requirement.

World Language Requirement:

  • Completion of world language proficiency at the 222 level.
  • 4 sh of a world language course at the the 300 level or higher.
  • Completion of a semester abroad that includes at least one economics course.
