FIN 466 MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS
In this course, we will examine the principles of mergers and acquisitions from a broad perspective and will focus on the elements that most often impact the purchase or sale of a business. The goal is to be familiar with the most favorable corporate structure, the nature of an entity’s assets and liabilities, shareholder and management constituencies, financial considerations, possible risks and the impact of various laws applicable to any major acquisition or divestiture.
