The Spanish minor requires two lower 300-349 courses, two 350-399 courses, and a 400-level course.

A winter or summer term abroad in a Spanish-speaking country is strongly encouraged. If a student chooses to study abroad for one semester, the student is strongly encouraged to take 4 sh of WLC 301, 302, 303 as part of the study abroad course load that counts towards the minor. A maximum of 2 courses (8 semester hours) taught in Spanish abroad at the appropriate level and approved by the department can apply to the minor.
