CHM 353 BIOCHEMISTRY II

This course is the second semester of a two semester Biochemistry course (CHM/BIO 351/353).  We will cover the major metabolic pathways (processing of fats, amino acids, protein, and nucleic acids), biochemical signaling and nucleic acids and protein synthesis. Material presented will be related to real world applications such as health, disease, and the functioning of mammalian systems. The main text book, primary literature, and case studies will provide the framework of information.
