Student Conduct Amnesty Related to Title IX and Sexual Misconduct

As noted in the Student Handbook, the university provides amnesty to students who may be hesitant to report violations of this policy to university officials, or to participate in the investigation or adjudication process, because they fear that they themselves may be accused of other policy violations, such as underage drinking and/or illegal drug use, at the time of the incident. Educational options will be explored, but the university will not pursue other policy violations, such as underage drinking and/or illegal drug use. Records regarding the provision of amnesty may be maintained.
