DAN 3300 CONTEMPORARY MODERN V

This is an intensive course in modern dance employing various established techniques for more complete development of skills and an understanding of the aesthetic criteria for the contemporary modern dance style. This course also poses questions for self-evaluation as a dancer. Theoretical knowledge of dance as an expressive art form is gained through lecture/discussion based on class work, reading, observation, written assignments and attendance at dance concerts.
