JOU 3100 REPORTING FOR THE PUBLIC GOOD

Students become reporters and writers who emphasize accuracy, logic, and the sound and sense of words. Students analyze good journalism and discuss concepts such as civic journalism, the watchdog function of the news media, ethical practice, and journalism's role in serving the public good in a democracy.
