JOU 3610 BUSINESS NEWS REPORTING

The news media need to report and write stories about business and the economy in compelling and understandable ways. This course identifies the need for business coverage and provides opportunities for students to pursue important stories in the community and region. Students will learn how to access the two main sources of information -- documents and people -- and discuss when and how to use data to build or enhance a story.
