Classroom/Laboratory Safety

The Elon University DPTE maintains policies and procedures for its classrooms and laboratories. These policies and procedures are accessible through the Department’s Safety Manual. Copies of the Safety Manual are kept in the Dr. Balilionis office, student lounge, and on Moodle under “DPT Safety.” In the unlikely event an injury occurs within one of the laboratories, the procedures written in the manual will be implemented. Additional safety procedures specific to the Human Donor Lab will be kept in the Anatomy Lab and a notebook of Safety and Data Sheets (SDS) are kept in each of the laboratory rooms.
