Physical Therapy Student Organization Leadership Positions

The Physical Therapy Student Organization (PTSO) purpose is to streamline current leadership positions among and between the Elon University Physical Therapy Department, foster better communication and relations with various organizations such as Elon’s Physician Assistant program and the Undergraduate campus, as well as to organize and host social and professional events. The Executive Board of the PTSO should consist of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year President, Vice President, In-reach Coordinator, and Outreach Coordinator.

PTSO Executive Board

President:

There shall be one President for each class, who will preside at all Town-hall meetings, appoint necessary Chairs, call special meetings of the Organization when needed, and act as the chief liaison between the board and the faculty. Additional duties of the President

include, but are not limited to:

•     Leads Board in executing the mission, purpose, vision of PTSO.

•     Leads Board in developing annual short term, and long-term goals.

•     Liaison and main point of contact for Undergraduate Organizations.

Vice President:  

There shall be one Vice President for each class, who will preside at all town-hall meetings and assist the President with meetings and voting as needed. Additional responsibilities of the Vice President include, but are not limited to:

•     Record and share regular Meeting Minutes.

•     Communicate closely with President and assist the President with any responsibilities on as needed basis
