A Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a major in Acting requires the completion of the Elon Core Curriculum as well as the Major Requirements listed below.
Please note that an audition is required for entry to the B.F.A. Acting major.

Select Two of the following Theatre History Topics : 8 sh

DTS 3620 | Class, Power, and Revolution in World Theatre | 4 sh |
DTS 3630 | Drag and Gender in World Theatre | 4 sh |
Select eight semester hours of acting: 8 sh
Must be at the 3000-4000 level. Includes special topics courses.
Select one 3000-4000 level design course: 4 sh
Select four semester hours of electives from the following: 4 sh
- Private voice or studio dance (up to four credit hours total)
- Additional hours of ACT 3320
- Winterstock theatre (up to four semester hours total)
- Theatre, dance or voice ensemble (up to four semester hours total)
- English or World Language courses with a focus on dramatic literature (up to four semester hours total)
