Health Services
In addition to the existing in-person University health services at Counseling Service and Student Health Services, Elon provides students with access to TimelyCare, a telehealth program that offers medical and mental virtual health care from anywhere in the United States, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year, with no additional cost or fee to students. DPAS encourages students to take advantage of this service when feeling under the weather, anxious, or overwhelmed. Students can go to TimelyCare to register with their elon.edu email address, using the access code that was emailed to them. Students can then have visits from any web-enabled device – smartphone, laptop, or desktop. TimelyCare service is available and is provided. Information about accessing the virtual services is also available on the websites for Counseling Services appointments and Student Health Services appointments.
Student health in-person services may be open on a more limited basis during University-observed breaks and the Summer. Consult the Student Health Services website for hours of operation.
Students with health issues that may impact their ability to participate in the PA Program are encouraged to discuss those concerns with the Program Director as soon as possible. The PA faculty, including the Program Director and Medical Directors, may not provide medical care to students, nor give clinical advice, nor access student health records, but may facilitate referrals to healthcare facilities.
