Section 4. Editorial Amendments

Amendments that are editorial in nature (See Article VI, Section 3), except in cases where such changes have been negotiated as part of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) for faculty within the bargaining unit may be approved by an affirmative vote of two-thirds of the voting members present at the Academic Council meeting at which the Amendment was proposed or any Academic Council meeting thereafter. Upon a motion of a voting member prior to the vote on the amendment, Academic Council will vote, using simple majority, on whether or not to require a vote on the proposed change at the next Faculty Meeting. All amendments are subject to approval by the Board of Trustees.
