Elon University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award bachelor’s and master’s degrees, the doctor of physical therapy and juris doctor degree. Elon University also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved levels. The Master of Science in Business Analytics program is accredited by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
The Master of Science in Accounting program is accredited by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
The Master of Education program is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education and by the North Carolina State Department of Public Instruction.
The Master of Arts in Interactive Media program is a part of the School of Communications. The school and program are accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC).

The Juris Doctor program is accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA).
The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) has granted Accreditation-Continued status to the Elon University Physician Assistant Program sponsored by Elon University.
Accreditation-Continued is an accreditation status granted when a currently accredited program is in compliance with the ARC-PA Standards.
