Introduction

The purpose of this handbook is to provide the Elon University in Charlotte physician assistant student with the policies and procedures of the Elon University Physician Assistant Program in Charlotte. This information includes the academic and professional standards and expectations reflected in University and Program policies. Adherence to these policies is important for progression through the program and to maintain a beneficial learning environment for all members of the Elon University PA Program in Charlotte community.

Policies in this handbook apply to all students, principal faculty, staff, and the program director regardless of location (A3.01). Thus, this handbook is applicable to students in both the academic and clinical education phase of education.
