EDU 3550 TEACHING IN 21ST CENTURY CLASSROOMS

This course introduces methods of designing aligned curriculum, instruction and assessment. It examines critical issues in teaching in the contemporary secondary school, including technology integration, approaches to organizing and managing classroom environments, and literacy needs within content area classes. In order to better understand these and other matters of achievement and behavior, students will use readings, discussions, course assignments, and field experiences to begin addressing contextualized problems of practice.
