Attendance
Students are expected to attend all classes and scheduled department activities. All anticipated absences must be reported in writing to the professor. All unanticipated absences due to illness, accident, and other unexpected events must immediately be reported to the DPTE Program Assistant and to the course professor. Due to the intense nature of the curriculum, students are strongly encouraged to schedule medical and other personal appointments to avoid class conflicts. The implications of missing class are left to the discretion of the course instructor.
During clinical education, students are responsible for notifying their supervising Clinical Instructor (CI), Site Coordinator of Clinical Education (SCCE), and the Director of Clinical Education (DCE) regarding all absences, whether anticipated or unanticipated.
