Title IX Mandatory Training

Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972 states that no person shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. Title IX training is mandated for all students, faculty, and staff working with youth serving organizations and agencies. Faculty and staff who administer programs and classes or advise student organizations that work with youth-serving organizations and schools should advise students of this requirement. This training is available on Moodle.

Title IX Training must be completed upon entering the DPT program. A student will not be permitted to participate in any lab or class activities involving minors if they have not competed the training prior to the course and will receive a zero for any missed assignments due to a lack of Title IX training.
