Safety

The DPTE Safety Site is located on Moodle. The Department safety manual and current safety topics are maintained on this site and accessible to all students, faculty and staff in the department.

Student safety is always high priority. To help maintain a safe environment for individuals and all associated with the DPTE, the following safety regulations will be enforced:

• Keep all outside doors shut; do not prop doors open!
• The student will be responsible for the knowledge of the locations of all fire exits and fire extinguishers;
• The student will be responsible for knowing the fire safety procedures (including drills), and other emergency precaution procedures;
• The student will follow the procedures for fire drills and other like drills.
