FIN 4974 TRADING AND MARKETS
This course studies how modern capital markets function and how securities are traded. We will use the Rotman Interactive Trading software to take the role of a trader with a variety of goals, trading in a live setting with both each other and computer-based agents. We will learn about the different problems and roles traders face as they make markets and manage risk. Institutional details and the legal and ethical environment surrounding securities markets are also a crucial part of this course.
