Student Allegations of Harassment and Mistreatment

The Elon University PA Program in Charlotte is committed to maintaining an environment where students feel respected, supported, and heard. This section of the handbook outlines how to report concerns, seek guidance, and access resources. Mistreatment

•Every student has the right to an educational environment that is free of mistreatment and built on professionalism, respect, and equity. Unfortunately, situations may occur that fall short of these standards. Addressing mistreatment is vital for your personal well-being and the integrity of the program.
•Mistreatment may take many forms, including but not limited to:
•Verbal Abuse: insults, inappropriate comments, or derogatory language
•Discrimination: unfair treatment based on personal characteristics such as race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation.
•Unprofessional Conduct: violations of professional and ethical standards

 

Harassment

•Harassment may take many forms, including but not limited to:
•Unwanted behaviors: verbal, physical, or written - that compromise dignity or safety.

 

Reporting Resources

•Reporting such incidents is an important and necessary step in creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all.
