FRE 351 PERSPECTIVES ON EARLY FRANCE
This course is designed to help students gain important perspectives on French society from the Middle Ages to the French Revolution via an interdisciplinary approach to the study of important works of literature and other cultural productions. Students examine works in their historical contexts and develop their skills in textual analysis and research in French. The selected works allow students to gain a transhistorical perspective on a unified theme (such as the evolution of French national identity).
