PSY 270 PSYCHOLOGY OF MUSIC

This course examines relationships between psychology and music. Students will study how music interacts with individual-level factors such as personality, cognition, and emotion. Students will also study social aspects of music such as group affiliation, and how macrolevel factors can influence musical trends and the emergence of new genres.
