Academic and Professional Progression Through the Clinical Year
Students in the Clinical Education phase of the Program are subject to the same Academic and Promotion criteria previously discussed in this Handbook.
Program completion requires that students successfully meet all requirements of the Didactic and Clinical phases of the Program. This includes successful completion of each course as well as meeting program outcomes as determined by summative evaluation performance. Additionally, students must have appropriate documented clinical exposures and meet program technical standards to be awarded completion. Once students are progressed to program completion, the Program Director can clear the students for eligibility to register for the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE).
