Security and Personal Safety Education

•Prior to starting each Supervised Clinical Practice Experience (SCPE), students will receive guidance on appropriate security and personal safety measures specific to the clinical facility.
•Clinical site onboarding will include safety education and protocols relevant to that site.

Responsibility for On-Site Safety

•The clinical site is responsible for maintaining security and safety measures, as outlined in the program/facility affiliation agreement.

Reporting Safety Concerns

•Student safety is the program’s highest priority.
•Emergency situations should be reported to on-site security/emergency personnel or call 911.
•Any concerns regarding safety during clinical rotations must be reported immediately to the Director of Clinical Education.

Access to local emergency services
Crisis counseling
Reporting personal incidents
