COR 303 THE CULTURE OF ROCK

This course examines the evolution of rock music and the subcultures centered upon that music, from the 1950s through the 1970s and beyond. It incorporates analysis of important theories, films, and cultural artifacts. The course is reading and writing intensive. Open to students in the third or fourth year of study. Counts toward American Studies minor.
