COR 3680 NUTRITION IN THE 21st CENTURY

The purpose of this course will be to explore ways that knowledge of nutrition will help you be a better global citizen. Topics include the role nutrition plays in helping you function better cognitively, emotionally, and physically; the cultural and societal trends and controversies related to nutrition in the 21st century; and ways nutrition knowledge can help you understand the world's problems such as food insecurity and food terrorism. This course is writing intensive. Open to students in the third or fourth year of study.
