MSBA 6605 Data Driven Analytical Models
Stated broadly, this course is designed to introduce students to modern data driven modeling building upon the preparatory work done in the summer boot camp and prior preparation in basic statistics, linear algebra/calculus, and programming. This is an introductory and overview data analytics course with a focus on understanding the conceptual foundations of data driven model building with more detailed and deeper treatment of techniques being covered in subsequent courses in the sequence. Students will learn about descriptive techniques and predictive analytics on structured data. Students will implement these techniques in Python and course material will include additional features of the Python language that are essential for implementing these techniques.
