MSBA 6620 Business Data Mining & Machine Learning
This course will provide a more comprehensive and in-depth coverage of predictive modeling with an emphasis on modern data mining and machine learning approaches such as tree ensemble methods, neural networks, and support vector machines that are most used in industry. Students will also be introduced to the basics of deep neural networks and their application to image recognition and natural language processing. Students will learn about techniques and their practical implementation through hands-on work in Python and the course material will include additional features of the Python language and machine learning libraries as required.
