* A grade of “C+” or “C” is in and of itself a passing grade. However, a “C+” or “C” grade is below the required overall grade point average of 3.0. If “C+” and “C” grades total an amount to bring the student’s GPA to below 3.0, then this is not satisfactory performance based on professional expectations.
** Not calculated in the overall GPA.
Grade Rounding Policy:
Final course grades will be rounded to the nearest whole number. For example, a grade of 79.50 will be rounded to 80, while a grade of 79.49 will remain 79.
AI-Assisted Grading:
To support timely, consistent, and meaningful feedback, select assignments throughout the curriculum may be evaluated with the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI) - enabled grading tools. Faculty members retain ultimate responsibility for all grading decisions, oversight of assessment process, and determination of final grades. The use of AI-assisted grading is intended to enhance educational effectiveness while maintaining fairness, accuracy, and adherence to program and institutional academic standards.
