Health Insurance

The DPTE requires that every full-time student have health insurance.

Proof of health insurance coverage will need to be presented by the end of Orientation Day to the DPTE Chair. All DPT students are responsible for maintaining health insurance throughout the program. Students must submit evidence of current health insurance to the Director of Clinical Education.

Malpractice/Liability Insurance (see App F)

Personal malpractice insurance is not needed while acting in the capacity of an Elon Student Physical Therapist; Elon University has a malpractice policy.
