Inclement Weather

The most accurate and up-to-date information about the status of classes and campus services during inclement weather for Elon University PA Program in Charlotte can be found on the Today at Elon website. Students are encouraged to check the site frequently for updates, schedule changes, and closures. Important bulletins may also be accessed by calling the Elon severe weather hotline at (336) 278- SNOW (7669).

Students may also receive critical severe weather-related messages via the E-Alert cell phone text messaging system. To ensure you are registered to receive text alerts, please add your cell phone number to your OnTrack account. Students, faculty, and staff are also encouraged to sign up for the RAVE Guardian Safety app to receive important safety notifications, including inclement weather updates.

Bicycles on Campus

According to the Elon University Student Handbook, bicycles may only be parked in designated bike rack areas. All bicycles must be registered with the Office of Campus Safety & Police. Bicycles found in unauthorized areas will be confiscated. A $5 fine and a $10 monthly storage fee will be assessed for each violation.
Students should secure their bicycles in designated bike racks and ensure they are properly locked. If a bicycle is stolen, students should report the theft immediately to Campus Safety & Police. For any questions or concerns, contact Campus Safety & Police at (336) 278-5555.
