Religious Holidays Policy

In supporting religious diversity, Elon has a policy and procedures for students who wish to observe religious holidays that are in conflict with the academic calendar, allowing students an excused absence. Students are required to make prior arrangements with the instructor for completion of any work missed during the absence. This policy does not apply during the final examination period. Whenever possible, notify the Director of Didactic Education and the Course Director at least 30 days in advance of the requested day off.
