ENG 255 F ART AT THE END OF THE WORLD
How do we respond—as citizens, siblings, significant others, students—to apocalypse? How do we define apocalypse? Is it climatological? Political? What if it's personal? As the world seems to burn down around us, whether literally or symbolically, this course will seek texts that respond to existential questions, no matter the era. (On that note, fair warning: we may well read Moby-Dick. All of it. Seems we've long been alarmed about how nigh the end might be.)
