Promotion

Promotion is defined as progression from one academic year to the next. The DPTSREC will recommend a student for promotion.

1. A student with any outstanding grades of Incomplete (I) or Unsatisfactory (U) on the student's academic record or with a cumulative grade point average of less than 3.0 may not be recommended for promotion.
2. When considering a student for promotion, it is appropriate to consider professional, ethical, and personal conduct.
3. A student shall not be promoted if any legal and financial requirements of the University have not been satisfied.
