Maintaining Rotation Preparation

  • All students are required to have computer and Internet access throughout the entire clinical phase.
  • Students are expected to check email daily and respond within 48 hours to any communication from DPAS, clinical administrators and preceptors.
  • Exxat clinical education platform and database:
    • All students will use Exxat to maintain student profile/passport credentialing requirements, review placements and each rotation’s onboarding requirements, log all clinical experiences, patient encounters, and access student/preceptor evaluations.
    • Students will be trained on the use of the Exxat system prior to their clinical education phase. Individual login information was given during the incoming student onboarding process. Students are reminded to protect their password information and to not share such information with other students or preceptors.
    • Students are expected to maintain up to date information on the Exxat site as instructed by DPAS and Clinical Education Team.
  • Information regarding upcoming rotations, evaluations, back to campus callback dates, etc. will be disseminated through Moodle on the “Clinical Year Seminar” courses.
