Progression Monitoring Within the Module

The graded assessments given in DPAS courses provide students and faculty with the opportunity to identify areas in which student knowledge may be weak. Students should review the feedback received from the instructor and from the exam platform as soon as possible after the exam and make plans to strengthen weak areas.

Graded assessments in courses scored less than 70% are considered “failing”. They suggest a larger area of weakness, and students scoring less than 70% must meet with the course director as outlined in the Remediation section of this handbook. When a student fails multiple graded assessments, particularly in the Winter, Spring, and Summer I modules, that student is considered academically at-risk due to foundational knowledge deficit and may be placed on academic concern or warning
